Don’t Knock The Hustle

Survivor Healing Through Entrepreneurship

Don’t Knock the Hustle champions small businesses as one of the most effective strategies for long-term self-sufficiency and building wealth for domestic violence survivors with marginalized identities. Our program promotes entrepreneurship, provides mini-grants, and offers business planning, job skills, financial literacy, and budget training.

Small Business Mini-Grants

Survivors who have or want to make money from a hobby, project, or business are eligible to apply for a $500 mini-grant from GCADV. They can use these grants for a wide range of business-related expenses, including but not limited to start-up supply/inventory, continuing professional education, business/professional licenses, credit repair, and independent financial counseling.
