Vigil to be held against domestic violence

The ninth annual “Silent No More! Candlelight Vigil” against domestic violence will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, 450 Auburn Avenue.
Domestic violence survivors representing the Latino, immigrant, military and gay, lesbian and transgender communities will share their stories and discuss the barriers they had to overcome to seek help.

The vigil is co-hosted by several groups and agencies including the Fulton County District Attorney’s Victim- Witness Assistance Program, the Saint Mark United Methodist Church, the Partnership Against Domestic Violence, and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, according to organizers.
