Job Announcement: Prevention Coordinator

The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence is seeking a full-time Prevention Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing all NCCADV’s prevention programs, with special attention to coordinating outreach and services to traditionally underserved populations.  This position will supervise key staff, facilitate resource sharing and develop programming.  The Prevention Coordinator oversees NCCADV’s Domestic Violence Enhancement and Leadership Through Alliances (DELTA) Project and the Child Advocacy and Services Enhancement (CASE) Project and all other prevention-focused programs.  In addition, this position provides training and technical assistance to local domestic violence programs, allied professionals, regional sites, and community groups on issues related to intimate partner violence (IPV) prevention. Minimum of three years experience working in a local domestic violence service program or closely allied organization.  Master’s level degree or equivalent experience. Successful applicants will be familiar with national, statewide and local IPV prevention efforts in NC.  Applicants from diverse groups are encouraged to apply. This is a Durham-based position.
