October 1st
- Albany - Haven of Hope Dog Walk, 10 a.m. at Riverfront Park (100 block of N. Front Street.) Part of the 2nd annual National Sheltering Animals and Families Together (SAF-T) Day. - Blairsville – 10th Annual S.A.F.E. Poker Run. Registration begins at 10am at Meeks Park. $25 per bike; rider (passenger $15) Includes: T-shirt, one poker hand, food, and one raffle ticket. There will also be a special dramatic presentation, “Nothing to Sing About,” about domestic violence in the church, featuring Ronald Williams as Pastor and Francine Johnson as Chrissy. I am a Newly started business owner with Marykay cosmetics. I support the fight to stop domestic violence whole heartily. I didnt know what i could to help in my own way. I came up with this idea for the month of October. For every purchase i will donate 35% to the marykay foundation- a legacy of love which sponsers programs and facilities to stop Domestic violence as long as every purchase is signed with Legacy of love! i dont know how this site works but i just wanted to help in my own way.
